General and Pre-Sales

Do you offer pre-purchase testing servers?

We certainly do but only for a limited amount of time. Please email support@cubosgaming.com to request a test server. We will require the game you are interested in, a testing username/password as well as what clan or organisation you are from.

Do you offer sponsorship?

Unfortunately we are already offering sponsorship to a number of carefully selected organisations and will not be taking on further groups at this time.

Our definition of sponsorship is that of an arrangement that provides a mutual benefit between a gaming team and ourselves. That is, we do not give services out for free. All teams we sponsor are required to give something back which makes the agreement worthwhile. These requirements extend beyond advertising us on their websites and this is in fact only a minor part of a typical sponsorship agreement.

Do you permit reselling of services?

What is the difference between public and private servers?

A private server is one which must always have password protection enabled. A server of this type is designed for private clan-only practices and organised matches (scrims). A public server on the other hand may have the password enabled or disabled at any time. This allows the server to be opened for the public use of all gamers, but it may also be passworded for private use when needed.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently we accept Direct Deposit, Credit Card and PayPal payments. Cheque and Money Order payments are accepted for payments in advance of 3 or 6 months upon special arrangement.

Where are your servers hosted?

Battlefield 2/2142

Do you offer ranked Battlefield 2 or 2142 servers?

Unfortunately we have been unable to obtain a ranked server license with EA (Electronic Arts). However, many customers seeking ranked servers may not realise that they will have little, if any control over a rented ranked server. All ranked servers must abide by strict conditions set out by EA. Some server variables such as password protection and ticket ratios are hard-coded into the server. This means that a ranked server may not be used for clan practice sessions. Modifications for Battlefield of any type are also not allowed on ranked servers.

Call of Duty 4

Are your Call of Duty 4 servers ranked?

Yes. All Call of Duty 4 servers have the potential to become ranked servers. The ranking system is based upon servers running no modifications and complying with certain settings restrictions. As long as these restrictions are adhered to the server will be ranked.
